# How do I cancel a ride?

For on-demand trips, there is a **Cancel request** button after you have submitted your trip request.

After your trip has been accepted, you can still cancel it before the driver picks you up.

For scheduled trips, there is a **Cancel** button when you view your scheduled trips in the Scheduled Request page.

You will be given a time frame in which you can cancel free of charge, depending on the ride provider of your choice. 

When you cancel a ride beyond the given time frame, applicable charges will apply.
